scribo-feel-fountain-pen-in-chess-queen-limited-edition
Scribo Feel Fountain Pen in Chess Queen - Limited Edition

Even if you're rated 300 ELO, you can feel like a Chess Grandmaster while writing with this exquisite SCRIBO fountain pen.

In a partnership between SCRIBO (Italy) and Goldspot Pens (USA) and YouTube creator Neil from Wasted Paper, we proudly present this limited edition design inspired by one of the world's oldest, turn-based strategy board games. For the QUEEN pen, Scribo crafted a dodecagonal shape from translucent, marbled white Italian acrylic, engraving a chessboard pattern aligned with the polished facets. Yellow gold trims accent the pen's clip, engraved cap ring, and the cast Queen piece symbol on top of the cap finial.

The historic OMAS nib is the key component of the SCRIBO writing instrument. Using the same tooling and manufacturing methods once employed by the OMAS pen company, this pen is fitted with a 14kt gold "Feel the Flex" nib or an 18kt gold "Feel the Writing" nib, both paired with an ebonite feeder. The design enhances the always ready, generous, soft and precise writing experience. For writers that prefer a bouncy, flexible writing nib for Copperplate or Spencerian handwriting, the 14kt gold feel the flex nib is a perfect match. For a premium writing experience without the flex, Scribo's range of 18kt gold nibs provide exceptional performance. Choosing a Scribo nib is a lot like selecting a chess opening to learn—it depends on the writer's preferences.

Instead of using a number to designate each piece of this edition, Scribo engraved the words "QUEEN to" along with a coordinate found on a 64-square chessboard. All black pens in this edition have coordinates on the black side of the board (H8, for example), while all the white pieces have serials on the white side of the board (A1, for example).

Each FEEL piston-fill fountain pen is accompanied by a genuine leather and cotton handmade soft pouch to accommodate two writing instruments. A side pocket includes a cloth to keep your pens looking their best. SCRIBO provides a 3-year guarantee from the date of purchase on the quality craftsmanship of each pen. A commemorative box sleeve completes the Chess edition's theme.

SCRIBO Feel Chess QUEEN Fountain Pen Specifications

Edition: Limited to 32 handcrafted pens, each with an individual serial engraved on the section.
