Experience the artistry of fine writing with the Conklin 1898 Spectra Fusion Collection. Blending Conklin’s rich American heritage with innovative materials and traditional craftsmanship, the Spectra Fusion Collection brings together the natural beauty of stabilized wood and the striking depth of hand-poured epoxy resin. The result is a distinctive writing instrument that celebrates the harmony of nature, modern engineering, and timeless design.
The Spectra Fusion Fountain Pen in Green features a captivating blend of professionally stabilized maple burl and richly colored epoxy resin. Vibrant green tones complement the intricate patterns of the natural wood grain, creating a striking combination of organic warmth and translucent, jewel-like depth. Through a specialized stabilization process, the wood is enhanced for improved durability and resistance to moisture, warping, and cracking, while the epoxy resin adds structural strength and a beautifully polished finish. Elegant chrome-colored trim completes the design, offering a refined contrast to the rich green hues and natural wood character.
Faithful to Conklin’s iconic 1898 design heritage, the Spectra Fusion Fountain Pen features a classic cigar-shaped profile, a finely engraved cap band, and the signature crescent-shaped clip inspired by the brand’s historic Crescent-Filler™ legacy. Each pen showcases its own distinctive combination of wood grain and resin patterns, making every piece a unique expression of craftsmanship and material artistry.
The fountain pen is fitted with a smooth-writing German-made JoWo #6 silver steel nib, available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.1mm Stub, and Omniflex options. Designed for versatility and convenience, the pen includes standard international ink cartridges and a threaded converter, allowing writers to enjoy their preferred bottled fountain pen ink or cartridge format.
Limited to just 1,898 pieces per color, the Spectra Fusion Collection celebrates Conklin’s enduring commitment to innovation, exceptional craftsmanship, and distinctive design. Each pen is presented in a luxurious Conklin gift box with a custom sleeve, making it a remarkable addition to any writing collection or a thoughtful gift for fountain pen enthusiasts and collectors who appreciate unique materials and limited-edition designs.
